first things first

the morning of our wedding was probably the most exciting time of my entire life.
every minute was packed with anticipation and happiness!
i was bouncing off the freaking walls.
"guys... i'm getting married today."
"do you know of anything cool going on today?"
"today would be such a nice day to get married."
"hey- do you know what today is?"
"next time you see me, i'll be married."
"AHHHH IM GETTING MARRIED!"
i was a spaz all morning long. maybe it had something to do with the fact that i got a perfect 9 hours of sleep the night before. yes, you read right. i slept like a little child. i woke up to the sound of my mom asking "ASHLEY, YOU'RE NOT AWAKE YET?!?" and then telling me that we had to be at the salon in ten minutes. awesome. obviously it didn't really phase me.
i can't think of anything more perfect than spending my last few hours of single life with my favorites.
my best friend.
my mom.
... and a sausage egg mcmuffin.
leah did the most amazing job on my hair.
seriously.
i came to her with a weird assortment of hair pictures,
and she made my vision come true.
she is the best!
i sat there all giddy and talking a mile a minute while my fingers were dancing around my phone with excitement.

surely i had to text the groom!
i think the following little conversations are hilarious.
so glad my iphone holds on to all of my precious text messages.

we packed the car and headed toward the temple.

and for the grand finale,
the very last text i sent as a single, ms. ashley barnes, was the following:
